chalk dust

I remember the draw of the chalkboard even in first grade.

The teacher would be late and I’d sneak a piece of chalk, quietly making doodles on the board’s corner until caught. Of course I kept the bit, pocketing it until I got home, at which point anything of dark color was a target.

I’ve moved on from there and now create signage and ¬†pretty things for friends and clients. Weddings, special events, love notes, menu signs are just a handful of the possibilities. Though still working up the ranks, here are a few pieces I’ve made.
